Dr. Mannis is an excellent therapist and psychologist. He is patient, thoughtful and direct. He pulls no punches when appropriate but is not malicious or aggressive. He guides understanding and provides a foundation for reflection and improved decision making. I highly recommend Dr Bob for anyone who is unsure of their therapeutic needs, but wants to talk with someone.
If you're reading this, I suspect you may be seeking something and chances are you may not know what that something is. If you're willing to get out of your own way and truly put in the work to explore your "self", Dr. Mannis may just be the guide to help you. He truly helped me change my life and I am forever grateful. Thanks Bob!
Dr Mannis, aka Dr Bob, is a wonderful Psychologist. He is patient, direct and a wonderful educator. He listens carefully and encourages open sharing of your concerns. He then helps guide understanding of the issues and let you reach the conclussion. He feels like a good buddy but is clearly an expert in command of his field.
Dr. Mannis helped me immeasurably after a life-changing loss. He has taught me valuable lessons regarding, humility, gratitude, and the negative effect judgement imposes on our lives.
He is the best and helped me get rid of self-loathing and become my Self.
Dr. Mannis changed my life for the better; gave me hope, direction and healing. My highest recommendation!
Easy going, relaxed, and perceptive. He started by explaining what he felt my and his responsibilities are. Keeps me focused on the theme of our discussion. I'm pleased with our relationship.
Best psychologist ever! He listens and give the best unbiased responses. I recommend him to anyone that wants a 'real' psychologist, Dr. Mannis is the best!
the basics - on time, listens, remembers, non judgmental; the key - he shared fundamental tenants on how to view myself, others, the whole world really, in a healthy way. He listened to my problems and showed me where and when to apply those tenants. Practicing those things has brought me a simple happiness that lasts through even the roughest times.
What can you say about someone who has helped you with so much.
Dr. Bob is an AMAZING doctor and I can only imagine the mess I may still be if I hadn't found his practice.
I am forever grateful and would recommend his practice to anyone in need of a helping hand.
It is without hesitation that I am writing this endorsement of Dr. Robert Mannis. As a retired psychologist myself, I'd like to think I know the qualities that go into what makes a terrific psychologist. Dr. Mannis has been such a major part in helping me understand myself better, in dealing with the struggles life can bring, and in dealing better with the important relationships in my life.
Dr. Mannis is genuine, respectful, empathetic, a very good listener, and non-judgmental. He is someone I can speak with freely without fear of judgment but at the same time I know I will get a direct, humanizing, and honest response. One can immediately find that his feedback comes from his heart and having spent much time thinking through issues rather than reciting them from textbooks. Saying "I understand" is very different than truly understanding and showing that in one's response. Dr. Mannis doesn't have to say it - you know he does. From my perspective, he is a "therapist's therapist" which is quite an achievement. I can, with complete confidence, recommend him to others.
